Admissions Process

Visit Heartsong Nature Preschool in Annapolis

We encourage all prospective families to attend one of our in-person Admissions Tours or participate in our Virtual Open House.

These visits provide a comprehensive overview of our Waldorf-inspired early childhood program and offer a guided tour of our Annapolis preschool campus, including both our thoughtfully designed indoor classrooms and our expansive outdoor learning spaces.



This is your chance to see how our nature-based approach supports meaningful early learning in a peaceful, nurturing environment.

Submit Your Preschool Application

Families interested in enrolling should complete the Application for Admittance during the school year before the intended year of enrollment. A $75 non-refundable application fee (per family) is required at the time of submission.

We begin accepting applications for our Annapolis preschool programs by January 31st for the upcoming school year and continue on a rolling basis as space remains available.



Please note:
Children must be 3 years old by September 1st to be eligible for enrollment.

All applications are carefully reviewed, with acceptance determined by:

• Application submission date
• Child’s age and developmental readiness
• Family interest and alignment with the Waldorf educational philosophy
• 
  

Priority consideration is given to:

• Current Heartsong students and their siblings
• Families of the Unitarian Universalist Church of Annapolis
• Children transferring from other Waldorf schools

Acceptance & Enrollment Confirmation

Families will receive notification of our admissions decision once the review process is complete. If your child is accepted, you’ll be invited to officially secure their spot by submitting the enrollment contract and required deposit by the provided deadline.

Due to limited availability in our Annapolis preschool programs, timely submission of paperwork is key to holding your child’s place.
